AL,
The DCI home office is back to full staff this morning. Joe felt he had an extremely productive trip. The switch from being a prepaid phone card company to a long distance company is well underway. One of the high lights of his day in Denmark was seeing DCI's switch temporarily out of service from an over load of minutes. It is up and running now but it has 5 times the amount of business than it can handle. The switch is a modular switch so its capacity will be expanded. All of this business is LD.

There will be a shareholder news letter going out around the first of February. It will bring us all up to date on the full ramifications of the IXC contract as well as what we should expect after the merger with Wavetech. If there are any Wavetech share holders who have not registered on DCI's web site you must do so by this coming Monday if you want to receive the letter. Joe realizes we are starved for information and this letter will clear up a number of items. I don't know if the newsletter will touch on the F-series or not but he again reiterated that he is buying back this convertible preferred series. He wants to save some new information for the Dayton meeting.

He still expects to hear from the SEC concerning the proxy material by the end of this month. Once he receives the OK, a meeting date will be set. More to come on that later. Right now his primary concern is making a decision on the number of switches going to Europe and whether they will be leased or purchased. Right now he is leaning toward debt financing so they can be purchased. Getting these switches to Europe is the company's top priority and a decision should be made by the end of next week at the latest. IMO we will see a press release on this because once the switches are in place the value of the company will go up several times over. This event is some how tied to the current QP. I have reason to believe if and when a press release comes out it will be worded so we will all understand exactly why we need the switches and how they will affect the bottom line. In other words, numbers as in dollars. The company still expects total revenues to reach $25 million this quarter but the switches have to be installed within the next 30 days to achieve this number. I believe after reading the newsletter we will know just how big Spain is and will be to DCI's operations. The company plans on having a grand
opening of this division in Madrid sometime around August.

Best Regards
