Trinity Gas Corporation, Inc., announces reorganization, new executive management
HOUSTON, TX --Trinity Gas Corporation, Inc., (Trinity) announces its emergence from Chapter 11 bankruptcy under the direction of new management. The corporation, formerly headquartered in Brownwood, Tx., has relocated its base of operations to Houston.
Thomas C. O'Dell, former president of Conoco Overseas Oil Co., and chairman of Du Pont B.V., has been named as the new chairman of the board and chief executive officer of the reorganized company. O'Dell currently heads Carlton Energy Group, a worldwide energy sector investments company, and has more than 25 years of petroleum industry experienced focused at the senior level.
Michael L. Wallace, a 1998 appointee to the executive board of the Gas Industry Standards Board, has been named president and chief operating officer. An attorney with more than 20 years experience serving as counsel to major corporations in the areas of energy transaction, litigation and regulation, Wallace served as general counsel for NorAm Energy Services of Houston from 1993-97. He most recently served as assistant general counsel for American Electric Power Co., in Columbus, OH.
John Glenn of Chicago has been named executive vice president, treasurer and chief financial officer. Glenn brings a strong background in banking and information technology, most recently as the owner of a Chicago-based software company. He has served as vice president of a major Chicago bank where he was in charge of Systems Development.
