You know, alot of us buy siders where led to believe by management that the quarter would be great. But many's the slip between cup and lip. I actually liked Ascend's numbers - take out the $14 million in dubious one-time charges included above the line and the quarter was $0.35 above everybodies assumptions on revenues that were clearly blow out. 41% sequential growth in core systems? It should mute the arguments as to who has the lead in ATM. Remote access was down, but there were significant deferrals this quarter, so look for it to be back big next quarter. As for LU, if they are being honest about the CO switch deferral showing up in March, all will be forgiven and back to the races. Pretty audatious predicting 30% YoY revenue growth and 100% YoY EPS growth for Q2. I'm inclined to believe them. So, mea culpa, predictions are not always right.
