Thanks so much for your considered response.
The account is my retirement account. However, we do consider that all things are "ours."
Her father does have considerable investing experience. Unfortunately, most of it not successful. Which brings to mind a favorite quote: "Only the practice of perfection ‘makes perfect.' Practicing imperfection merely reinforces the imperfect practice."
In any case, for the sake of family harmony, I will heed your advice.
