Stumbled on this MDSI story a few days back. Talk of an undervalued play. Maybe they should delist from TSE. The UBS writeup is good.
The contract they announced today should be less than a million dollars.

MDSI is gonna announce a few more contracts with two major telcos
this quarter and that should add another 4-8 million dollars to the
bottomline. The feeling I get is this company's growth is not gonna be
constrained by market demand. All the three sector it serves are totally underserved. Telcos constituted nearly 3% of last qrts business and that did not take into account more than 9.5 mill of the
AT&T contract. They talk of 57% market share in Utilities this qrtr
which would give you almost 13 million dollars worth of business for
FY96. This market conservatively is at least twice the 97 revenue estimate.

Exposure to this story is simply not there. For The stock to reach critical adrenaline levels on the the floors of the exchange it would take a couple more qrtrs. of solid execution......
