What is your experience with respect to option volatility dropping once news is out. I am in two minds with respect to my puts, it gives me an opportunity to buy at 91 (or I could bail out sometime during the day and buy the stock directly. I don't expect the stock stay down for very long, esp after the earnings report (split, stock buyback, Scott on TV, Jini on Monday, etc. etc.) IBM also did well in its earnings; howver S&P and NAS futures are down a litle, so I expect a weak open. I am quite sure day traders will drive this baby down 3-4 points in the morning. If the market strengthens, I expect to see 100 again later in the day.
