FYI Merger Info

I called STBI IR today and asked if there was any date set for putting the merger to shareholder vote. The response was that it should be getting underway pretty soon in order to complete the deal by end of March.

This prompted me to ask if yesterday's announcement that the deal had been cleared by the FTC had anything to do with the companies trying to close the deal earlier than announced. The response was that no such plans are known, and that as is, they will have to work pretty quickly to close by March.

Wanted to ask DZ at TDFX the same questions, but he is OOO till next Monday and I hate leaving voice mail.
