<< Must be the way in which you get quoted eh?>>

no, just the way small minds think -g-

If the US stock mkt tanks, the economy is going w/ it.. period. The stock mkt is too intertwined in the economy not to destroy it. Its all part of the nature of the bubble economy. When you aren't in a bubble where everything is tied to increasing asset values, the economy can handle a stock mkt bomb.

you callin 1970-78 a boom? I think not. The last real boom we had was the 20's. The resulting bust was called the "Great" Depression for a reason.

Come on now.. use your brain. As the value of the dollar falls (rampant inflation due to a shredded dollar and Al's reckless printing which he will do more of I guarantee you) gold prices rise.
The spread between L-T rates and short-term rates should get wider and wider as Easy Al runs the press and tries to paper over all our problems. A situation very bullish for gold.

see, that wasn't so hard -g-

I think you say stupid things just because you like to argue w/ people. Next thing ya know, you'll be telling me gold is not a metal but in fact a worthless plastic -g-

thanks for the giggles.
