I've always liked VCO. I'm still kind of amazed, and pleased too, that I can purchase a bottle of Concha y Toro locally.
With due respect to the Argentinean wines, Chilean wines are a little better, the above I understand is the largest grower in Chile, look also for their Reserve wines, particularly one under the label "Casillero del Diablo".
That is a really nice wine, I can't remember but I believe it is a blend of the Cabernet Sauvignon grape and Merlot.
There are other wines, particularly Cabernet & Merlot, that are indeed the greatest value.... but, shhhhhh other wise, you know what happens to price when things get discovered.
I love Chilean Wines. |
