DD,

The share price of ARP seems to be dictated mostly upon last published bid price. The big price spike in this stock occurred when it was determined Barrick had approached the Lundins with $5.50/share. Even though it was rejected, people logically thought it must be worth around $5.50.

I do find it interesting that volume has been sizable over the last couple of days...given the lull in bid activity I would expect very quiet volume but that has not been the case.
