Reached later, a Computer Horizons spokesman said in a statement that the company has given no new guidance on the company's 1998 financial performance or prospective performance for 1999. "We are comfortable with fourth-quarter and fiscal-year 1998 estimates," the spokesman said, adding that "it is much too early to comment on the second half of 1999 or characterize expected performance with any specificity." The company is expected to earn 38 cents in the quarter ended Dec. 31, according to First Call Corp. (END) DOW JONES NEWS 01-21-99
