DANIEL.SUCCESS!!!! Yesterday it seemed there were a lot of problems. Many were solved on our anniversary! I guess I won't find out if the CDROM has to be recognized by the bios to work. It is likely that Spots ideas may have worked too. It worked exactly as you indicated. I did crack the manual WRT the CDROM issue. I did not find anything helpful. IMO the ABIT manual is not as good as I have indicated in the past. I do not know if the manual has gone down hill or I have more intelligent questions WRT experiencing an installation. Thanks Zeuspaul
