Hi Victor,
Yes, on and off... I went into FTEL with an o.k. position, and I have held it, trade it, profit from it, suffer from it... you name it, overall I am up.... the last batch I held it through their latest debacle.
Apparently, they finally are beginning to come up with a reasonable stream of revenue plus contracts. it appears that the latest news indicate they have made a deal with a company called USAT, they have a web site, but I do not know the address, (must be: www.usat.com or so). In this deal FTEL will provide equipment, plus they are using their network to complete the FNET (that's the private company, which will IPO this summer, (so they say).
I am venturing to say that this rally will hold and may continue, but remember that in these things one never knows.
One thing that I feel FTEL is different, (and the reason I have stuck with it), is that they became a reporting company about a year and a half ago or so. That has given me confidence. They did a terrible financing deal where they granted warrants with a ridiculous low floor and they got killed, depressing the stock price.... that seems to be over.
At the current levels, I am in the black and a new positive momentum seems to be hitting the stock, so I will ride this wave, but this time I will be, more assertive to let it go the instant it falters.... if one goes by its history, the rally may still have some life, but who knows.....
In the end, a stock is a stock, it either makes you money or not and move on.....
As usual some people say it will fly, etc. etc.... but with the market the way it rests at this point, I am watching closely.....
Re: Argentinean wines, I know they have some excellent ones, but they are not well known here in the USA, and for me it has been some time ago since I drank one.
I keep telling myself that I need to visit the land of the Tango one of this days.... long ago I had a couple of good friends from Argentina, (while I lived in London). One of them was some kind of aristocrat and a great guy (Jose); the other one was the opposite, he was a riot, a real wild man...we used to call him 'Pato'. He probably will say the same about me... they were good days.... I completely lost track of both of them many years ago. |
