Andreas,

Listening to the CC, I noted that Glore stated that Iomega would be releasing Clik! in new form factors later this year. What could this mean?

On a side note, just thinking to myself about the Clik! design, wouldn't it make sense to create new "Clik! modules" to enhance existing Clik! drives?

What do I mean by new "Clik! modules"?

Well, I'm thinking that an existing Clik! drive could be turned into a portable MP3 player, merely by adding an MP3 module where the Clik! flash card reader would normally be attached to the Clik! drive.

Such an MP3 module would have stereo audio output connections for use with headphones. Such a module would have to be the size of the current Clik! flash card reader. From a consumer's perspective, this MP3 module could be purchased, and would make sense, if priced at $99.

Another example might be an IR module to interface with Palm Pilots.

Any feedback would be appreciated.
