No words of encouragement here. Nine's still got plenty of unresolved financial problems such as a negative net worth and minimal available cash. Their top of the line card is again a bottom-of-the-line 3D performer (good 2D, but 2D ain't sexy enough to sell cards to the mass market anymore). The flat panel display bundle is still too high-end to be more than a niche product and thus will not sell in volume (at least not the kind of volume that say, ATI's cards sell in) and Nine's share of the profits on the panel are probably limited to little more than if they were just selling the bundled video card without the panel. The card itself (sans digital connector) is about $230 MSRP, and I bought one myself for about $170 mail order. Which would indicate that their margin is probably somewhere on the order of less than $100 per display.
