IP identified a 1 Km long anomoly. Given what we know now, assume that within this anomoly lies an orebody. Portions of the orebody have economic grades of metallic content, however surrounding those portions is lower grade (uneconomic) metallic material. Assume that the orebody is lens shaped, and is much longer than it is wide. One end of the orebody is at the surface, but the majority of the orebody is below surface at a shallow angle from the surface outcrop.

NWI drilled 7 holes into the outcrop area in 98. These were the shortest, best bang for the buck holes at the time. Assays from these holes showed that mineralization was there, but that an uneconomic part of the orebody had been drilled. Following the strike of the anomoly, hole 99-1 was drilled 50m to the southeast and proved that economic grades do exist in the orebody.

Now they need to drill more holes to size up the economic portion of the orebody. If the next hole is a 50m stepout to the SE and the grades and widths are comparable to 99-1, then lookout... Given that the orebody is likely lens shaped, the next intersection could very well be thicker than 99-1.
