Yesterday's IBD had an article on the internet's
biggest buyout ever (out of the 100's of internet
cos.), which was I think 5 or 6 Billion, that's
right 1/10th of the ATI analog/digital buyout
which lacks a national footprint. Bad day for
the market today, but NXTL's headed much, much
higher. VOD has 5 million Briton subscribers,
NXTL will have same # end of this year. NXTL's
footprint is approx 2/3rds the combined ATI/VOD.
Unlike many internet cos., these companies real
value, and huge barriers to entry (few games in
town).
