Hi LM. Agreed...wholeheartedly (pun intended) Analysts that comment on Worldheart in the papers always add the caveat of the pending "fear" of Thermocardiosystems. Quite simply there is no competition to Heartsaver. There are four units out in the World today. Thoratec's Bi-VAD & Abiomed BVS-5000, both of these are external pump units. Pumps on a table, basically, with hoses running to "you". Both require hospitalization. Novacor's N100 LVAS and TCI Heartmate, these are internal pump units but are powered externally, so you must carry your power pack with you. Also all of these unis, literally place your Heart in your stomach. TCI Heartmate was just approved by the FDA and has consummed an incredible amount of money. TCS will need many years to get their money back from this system. I have very high hopes...to say the least! the Chief
