Aviator, Re: animalhouse.com

I think that it was reported somewhere that this is supposed to be the website (animalhouse.com) most visited by college students? I guess I just don't get it. There doesn't seem to be much over there. Didn't want to log-on as I'm a little old to be cavorting with college students. (Come to think of it, I'm about the same age as Bill Clinton ... hmmm...) Anyway, do you see evidence that this is a popular site. Maybe it's the message board or buddy lists or something.

I bought some IMAL basically because of its relationship with Worldnet and AT&T, and also because it isn't in the business of selling stuff, but rather lists other businesses that sell things. It seems more like eBay than OnSale in that respect, although OnSale is also coming out with AtCost where they will sell at wholesale, and count on advertising for most of the revenue. Seems that there is quite a lot of competition for surplus goods among the various auction sites...OnSale, uBid, PCCC, etc...

In your post you expressed enthusiasm for all three IMAL sites. Is animalhouse.com a "hot" site with the college crowd?

Bill
