Did you see the latest from ASLM? They stated Samsung and Hyundai are buying a lot of the new /5000 DUV steppers while Micron is "slowly" upgrading (in Italy). Wonder about the rumor that the Korean's had no money for upgrades. Nice to see that Samsung is now shipping 1 million parts per month and that Hyundai's cycle time, in Korea is <45 days. Looks like by June of 99 Hyundai will increase shipments by 100% with their new generation of die; fully loaded fabs in Korean (both 6& 7) and it will be in Eugene by March 1.Competion is getting fierce.
