"I don't think that there is in fact a Vancouver clinic, despite the promises, right?"
I'm wondering that myself. The news release only said that they have signed an "agreement to purchase" the vancouver clinic. It doesn't mean that they've actually purchased it. An agreement to purchase could be, for example, the existing owners telling medical resorts that if you want to buy this clinic, we'll sell it to you for 250 thousand dollars but you have to pay us in full by March 31. Medical Resorts says, "yeah, okay, no problem", and then they sign the agreement to purchase this new clinic. The thing is this, they could have offered anyone 5 million dollars to buy a chelation clinic in vancouver with the promise to pay by March 31, and anyone could have said "sounds great, lets do it... And hey, if you don't have the money by then, don't worry about it, we'll just call the whole thing off".
The NR announcing the agreement to purchase is way too vague to mean anything valuable. GET WITH THE PROGRAM ROB!!!!
Nothing was mentioned in this recent NR about revenue from the vancouver clinic nor was it mentioned in their 2Q report. So I'm going to assume that they don't own the clinic as of yet. Which, if this is true, would mean that Rob out right lied to me.
I'm glad I sold some of my shares today. Any ideas for my next investment? |
