I just bought back into WLA yesterday at 66 after a 1 1/2 year absence. I owned it from '88 to 97 and watched my investment more than quintuple. I only sold it to finance a real estate deal and have waited patiently to have the cash and a dip at the same time to get back in. Long term, I believe this is a great company.

For those who weren't around; in '93 when Bill and Hillary set their sights on changing the medical system all the pharmaceuticals tanked except WLA. It lost some ground but due to its divergence in the over-the-counter and other high-profile product lines it maintained its share value very well while building up its drug pipeline. Once pharmaceuticals rebounded, WLA bounced up along with them.

This is one for the core holdings I know I don't have to watch every day.

Captain Jack: Just noticed you on this thread the other day. Nice to "see" a familiar face.
