<How does it matter if women get them late or early ? It only "feels" better to you if theu get them early. But is it any different whether the foetus is 1 inch or 12 inches ? Its all a psychological feel good.> Are you looking at this totally from the perspective of the mother? It certainly seems that from the experience of the fetus, it would be less painful to be aborted at one inch, when the soul, the feelings, the nerve endings, etc. have not developed so much and the baby is not generally as sentient. What on earth do you mean by "psychological feel good"? That it feels good to have an abortion? Or that we delude ourselves by saying there is a difference when a baby is being destroyed, if it is at two months or six? Have you thought of what late-term abortions do to cheapen reverence for life in the larger society?
