Intel is innovating in the area of secure data transmission

I'm not certain that "innovating" is the right word. They are clever enough to take advantage of technologies available through their relationships with the government.

Is it possible that PIII will turn into "Clipper Junior"? The politics of hardware key storage and escrow have always made that a dangerous place to tread.
