Then today, they rush partial results to the market.

We are all a little suspicious of this. My take is they knew they could not get away with nor would the market accept to vague massives NR - one only need remember CWA.

My guess is they they had the assays are at least enough to support that NR and held on to them while they could stake out more terrritory in the area. In the oil business it is called "tight hole" status and they do exactly that all the time.

OR

The exchange requested them to elaborate on the first NR and they rushed what they could get. If this is the case then they were in a dilema - The securities regulations say you must disclose material changes. well if they got lots a shiny core but no assays what da heel are they supposed to do. Regulators say you must tell us but they dont have any numbers to back it up till they get the assays.

we can beat it to daeth if we please but maybe we are just getting so damn cycnical these days from the past year - 1998 must have been the worst year on record for mining. in Canada
