The company is negotiating a "consensual restructuring" which means a change in capital structure. Would any of the unsecured debt holders be worse off with convertible preferred, it does not look like it given the current structure. Someone on Yahoo posted a number to call to get IR information and that number is 416-863-6632. They seem fairly confident that a "consensual arrangement can be achieved.
