Vantive Takeover?

Someone on the Yahoo thread mentioned that there's talk in the Valley about Vantive's being acquired by Peoplesoft. Any of you Silicon Valley folks been hearing this lately.

Since before I invested in Vantive a couple of years or so ago I've considered Peoplesoft to be one of the most likely candidates to acquire Vantive. Seems plausible.
