John, I think that you're right about the timing of NRs. NWI has always had a problem with keeping a lid on a good looking core before assays are ready. I don't think that this problem is unique to them! There are too many people who may have seen the shiny core between the rig and the lab. I hope that you're right about staking new ground. Post#50 indicates that the first results in May 98 were good enough to stake a lot more territory at the time (over 7000 acres total). I wouldn't be surprised to see that they have staked even more after realizing that they have a huge new area play on their hands. They could then turn around and option some of these properties to finance their own drilling.

So... should we expect to hear an announcement soon from Troymin that they have staked millions of acres in the highly prospective Lac Rocher base metals play? ;-)
