The problem with her suit was technical. She failed to file an ordinary harassment claim in time, and the kind of claim she did file was much harder to prove. Thus, she was at risk of losing her appeal, not to mention the suit itself. After so much time, she wearied of pursuing it. What I don't understand is the fact that you draw conclusions opposite from most observers, who agreed that the President's settlement of the suit before the ruling tended to make him look guilty.
