The only defense to libel is truth. If George and others are inditing TSIG for harm allegedly suffered at the hands of Piercy, then TSIG would have a cause of action, regardless of whether TSIG is harmed by George et al.

It would seem that George at al suffered at the hands of Piercy, prior to TSIG's involvement with CCI. Ergo, legitimate libel cause of action. This presupposes TSIG's lack of involvement.

Piercy's an albatross. Sever ties.
