Richard,

Then you're stuck in the middle like I am in a couple of stocks right now.... <VBG>

The market is about the power of money and belief, which some would say are interchangable.

I'm currently sitting in a Y2K stock trading at about a P/E of 8, whose client base includes 10% of all Fortune 1000 companies.

But they were so heavily slammed by short-sellers last summer who saw the opportunity for easy money, that they continue to lag and show lagging stock performance.

Now I figure with so many Y2K companies almost GUARANTEED to be increasing their revenues and earnings through 1999-2000, while their customers are forced to spend treasure to fix their problems, one would think there would be more interest in the Y2K stock sector.
But alas, it has yet to recover.

So don't feel that Gold is the only thing outta favor.... <VBG>

And maybe Y2K companies are somewhat similar to Gold, in that the more visibility they receive, the more vulnerable the "system" appears.

Regards,

Ron
