I see everyone (most) on this thread running around like Chicken Little....

If you think the Internet is still in its infancy as to changing purchasing habits by the masses (something in which I believe), then look for risk/reward plays in the internet space. No matter how you slice it EGGS has name brand recognition, long standing relationships with computer equipment suppliers (which might mitigate any procurement problems others have experienced), strong balance sheet, no real expectations by Wall Street, research coverage on the way, a reasonable valuation based on Price/Sales...even annualizing 3Q98 numbers of $35 million...and you get a solid INVESTMENT.

I'm not saying you can't trade...because that is what I do for a living...but I have held my EGGS because I know as soon as I sell it I won't get back my full position...and I don't want to miss the fireworks...wish I knew when these guys are going to light the firecrackers...but I don't.

My other holding is BNYN as I believe the Switchboard IPO will be announced reasonably soon as I know that investment bankers are jumping overthemselves to do any deals that can be done. And after selling DBCC (the last time 1000 shares at $18, having paid $16) which I bought originally at $6 (16000 shares sold at 7 1/2...boohoo).

So there you have it...do your work, establish a core position and trade around your other shares so you're still in the game, you lower your risk profile and you make a little money on your trading positions each day (hopefully).

I'm outtahere for breakfast! Hold all calls!
