Need I remind you, market manipulation is against the law? were I to do the same things, would I not be in jail? If these manipulations of the news media media and the broad market are no "wrong", what then will be next called outside(or inside) the law? The same regulators that allowed these manipulations can not prevent (the allready begun) mergers which might in time result in only 3 suppliers of gold in the world. Or when we get to that point and the population of the world reaches such critical mass that ownership of only one more ounce of gold by anyone on earth causes a move of millions of dollars an ounce and we (or our children) own the media and all production and a single bit is needed for a medical or electronic purpose, Will they prevent it? Or will we be screwed again?
