And could you explain to me what placing a put on intel means?
And how is one can loose the shirt by buying puts again?

And the moral is -- do not try to talk about things that you have no idea about. AMD outperformed iNTEL by a 100% today so if one would buy a call on amd and buy a put on iNTEL, which is a logical strategy, one would make nice profit over one day period.

I would suggest that you would start from learning and not from teaching
