What do you mean by "sold out"? It sounds like you mean IBM has been working on Y2K-related projects for two years and you acknowledge such projects will dwindle?

My point is that IBM doesn't really know how much of the service revenue is tied to customer projects ultimately commissioned for Y2K. Moreover, since corporate I.S. in some cases explicitly set aside EXTRA funds for Y2K, this outlay has provided a temporary, one-time boost. So there is some substance to this concern: extra money being spent now will make future comparisions look bad when such is gone.
