On a semiserious note - I noticed with our pregnancy that Wife accorded our fetus a sort of smoothly rising status as it got bigger and more obviously viable. The first month or two we didn't dare think of it as a "person" yet - more like pure potential. Did you have a similar or contrasting experience?
