Senthil, you have to read between the lines...IBD said "last year, 725,000 NT servers shipped, vs. 602,000 UNIX machines, " for 1996. Remember, several companies make UNIX machines and SUNW does not sell just servers but sells everything needed for networking...it turns out that SUNW is gaining on the other companies that make UNIX machines...In additions SUNW is in the high end server market (higher profits)...Also, SUNW will announce this summer that they are going after the low-end server market this summer. Lastly, the whole INTRANET market is growing and this will allow more than one winner! If you do not understand these points you are missing the whole boat!!!
