Splits always have a "technical" date, and an "effective" date. The technical date is when they cut off the list of people who will be sent stock. Therefore, people who buy between the "technical" and "effective" dates, will get the pre-split shares and rights to the additional shares when they are "effective". Thus a transaction (at Schwab) will say "with stock split shares" indicating that I have bought 100 shares as well as the extra 50 when they are effective.

This is NOT a stock split. The shares will trade in Feb at 2/3 the price the day before -- if there's no movement until then, they will trade around $23. The "technical" date (1/19 for WIND) does not affect us folks...
