No offense taken sir! I thank you for pointing out how my method is correct and the intelligent way to work a reverse unless the stock rises in price when the reverse occours. Yes, most investors sell and they are smart because when the price is dropping you should get out on the way down and buy back in at a lower price to increase your position. Any seasoned investor would agree! But you must be careful and watch the stock trade (tick by tick) as most experienced investors do and when you see the pattern of selling outway the buys then sell before you lose your shirt! Common sense states to buy a stock at a lower price so this is why I always dump it when a sell-off occurs to be able to increase my position by buying much more at a lower price.
In your paragraph to me you show alot of emotions and RULE #1 in investing is never fall in love with a stock and trade on the obvious. While someone is holding and believing in hearsay the smart investor that knows how to spot trading indicators will sell/buy when its appropiate and therefore make money. When emotions get involved in investing a person loses!
I've been a P.M. for 12 years and trading 19, I've seen it all, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Good Luck!
