>>>Waht do you call a resident of Utah?<<< Uh....Tolerant? Stupid?
Utahk 'bout crazy.

I don't know. I think they're Utahns. Something I can't figure out is how so many things are named after the first Indians white "folks" encountered, when the first agenda was usually to wipe those people out. But the Mormons like Indians ~ they're sort of the opposite of black people. They deny this. Sort of.

Most of the places in Utah have either Indian or Biblical or Book of Mormon names. 'Cept for the deep-well imagination ones like Coalville. Ya got Moab and Brigham City and east of Nephi ya got Ephraim and Manti. Nice places. People can usually tell you where the names are from, but there's this town south of Nephi, in the very middle of the state, called Levan. I always thought it was another Mormon name until Roger said it's not, it's navel spelled backwards. That was pretty shocking to me, as these people are not known for their humor. You never look for that sort of thing.

It's like another country, thank you very much. One of the strangest places you'll ever scratch, if you scratch very deep. It gets in your system. It was destined for empire, and it's amazing it became a state. But it didn't, really.

Hey! I'm kind of an expert on it. :o)
