Re: "You are a fool for claiming I can't !"

Paul, he's saying that these vendors are subsidizing their K6-2 sales by charging exorbitant prices on additional components that the purchaser is REQUIRED to buy. That way, they can advertise the lowest price on pricewatch.

So sure, you can buy the CPU for $153. But you also HAVE to buy a $4 (market value) fan for $14 and $5 (market value) shipping for $15. Other vendors charging more for the CPU on pricewatch will offer much more reasonable (market) shipping rates, and give you the OPTION to buy the fan.

Get it? The vendor has tiny margins on the CPU, so he can advertise it cheap--then he makes it up on shipping and fans.

To put it in terms you're probably familiar with, McDonald's may offer a $0.99 "deal" on a Big Mac, expecting to make up the difference in high margin fries and sodas.

If you think the guy charging the lowest price on pricewatch is always the cheapest to buy from, then you really are the fool.
