OK, that's how I understood the law. In this case, I am not in a huge rush to buy back DISH (so naturally it will break 60 soon). I will leave it until the wash sale rule no longer applies, absent compelling news to jump in again. Today's bounce could have been a one-day reaction to the Primestar buyout. OTOH, once I finish the TNO/MMPT play I should have just enough cash to get into DISH again. Hmmmmmmmmmm...... It's a good thing I am going to the beach for a few days next Tuesday. My portfolio will probably do better when I am not trading so much.
