Wrong, this latest release signifies an important move for this company. The First release in this series has to do with an arrangement with Cambridge Golf, which was recently acquired by marquee. The second release is important because it represents a signed agreement with the Marquee group to be directly involved in the production of the event, involving many additional aspects such as TV, sponsorships etc. THese guys are heavy hitters in this industry, and have many contacts, one of their clients is the Isuzu Celebrity Golf Tourny, held in Tahoe each year. And expect more news very soon regarding additional developments with Marquee. Granted it has been a long wait but this company is starting to make a turnaround, now is the time to invest a few bucks IMO. I wish I was entering here, thats all I can say...not so lucky this time
DOnt forget Marquee is the agent for Michael Jordan, and it appears Mike is interested in playing in ProAMs since his retirement, including the Bob Hope and ATT, hey, anything is possible...only time will tell |
