I think it's over-blown.

First of all, what the hell is "digitized software"? They constantly referred-to "digitized software". Ex-cuse me, but software is ALREADY digitized!

I do hope they've done a better job in this regard than has Digital River. DRIV has done something similar to what they describe, and IT STINKS.

It doesn't give sufficient feedback about where the hell it is putting the stuff it is downloading (and thus doesn't give me a good feeling about success - what if I run out of disk space? I DON'T KNOW where it is going!).

Maybe BYND will do a better job than DRIV. But, really, I find nothing wrong with just downloading to a directory, and then running the .exe you just downloaded. Nearly everyone has managed to learn that much about how to use their browser!

Long BYND, but hoping the next press release has more substance...

I'd love to hear more about the software that they just acquired for keeping products hard drives up-to-date. For example, will this cover free "service packs" only, or will they be offering paid update subscriptions for major updates, and/or offer to sell a major update when they become available? If it does the latter, then I think that THAT press release was a real sleeper, and perhaps the most significant thing the company has done.
