Dave,

Nice post and I agree with you.

To All:

I also sympathize with any dealers who may have been ripped off and would lean toward barbaric punishment of the offender(s). But I do not see the burden of reparation being borne by TSIG shareholders. The agreement between TSIG and CCI seems clear in its intent to avoid the shift of any liabilities from CCI to TSIG. I'm a nice guy, we're all nice guys, but c'mon -- let the real offenders pay.

Also, I'm unclear as to the number of affected dealers. $7,500 has been bantered around and it may not seem like much, but is this per dealer? How many dealers were there? 10? 50? 100? The dollar figure can grow quickly.

Finally, on the subject of $7,500 as "the" figure, I'm also unclear. From this section of the site written by Mr. Robert Engbers, it appears that the real number is $2,500:

Maybe I'm misreading something?

Deepest regrets to former CCI dealers -- you got a raw deal and I sincerely hope you can recover your money from the guilty party. But not from me. Why hurt innocent TSIG investors?

Best Regards,
Hardrocker
