Gaugie, you are still mad at yourself for selling Sun on May 1, 1997?
Hey, I don't know what I am doing, but I do know that everyone makes bad calls, and you just chalk it up and keep going. Like mowing down those doohickies on the side of the road. In fact, still fretting over a bad trade almost two years ago would be way up there on my hypothetical all-time GETALIFE list if I had one, but I don't. Because I make mistakes every day. My working hypothesis is that I make mistakes because I make decisions, and sometimes the decision is wrong. That's all.
Although I could think of some fruitful contemplation as to why you didn't buy it back after it went up, or why you didn't buy it back when it dipped, etc. Anyway, I have been hearing mixed stuff about Sun lately. My theory (well, ok, I have a lot of them) is that once a company comes out with a great commercial you're gonna see the stock price go down, because they are focussing on the wrong end of the business. And I like Sun's commercials. |
