OT How deep do you fish. eh? Is it fast moving; do you just drift? eh?

Usually troll with a downrigger, depths 70-150 feet, mostly for chinook salmon. Run of pinks and sockeye late August over by North Pender Island. Pinks are great smoked. Pod of Killer Whales went through last year while I was fishing. Some right under me. Scared the pants off me. Better fishing off of Sooke (SW Vancouver Island) or up at Campbell River (mid E Vancouver Island). You've learned to speak Canadian, eh?
