I did get stopped out in the end - I think a mistake on my part was getting into the DJ instead of staying with the SP. So few issues that one stock can really move it. The move down for the SP was relatively very little while I had a 200 pt drop on the DJ from 10 minutes before the close yesterday. IBM closed very weak as well, which may bring more weakness short term. Also I am not as clear on support and resistance, SP I would peg 1228 as critical and set a stop below that. I do agree on your attitude of setting stops on exit as it seems every time I set a stop it gets taken out on a whip and the market reverses. For positional I guess I should just analyse each day, and then if a day breaks down, go out the next day... I may get back in Monday on a re-test of 1228.
