They beat the high estimate by 50%! What so bad about that?
My sources show Q4 high est. @.21 and they reported .31
FY98 estimate was .71 and they reported .96 vs .45 in FY98.

Why all the doom and gloom? Is everyone here short or what?

Taxes are what confuse things. They beat the estimates by a penny I believe.

Take the raw number I posted, multiply by 0.65, divide by shrs out to get EPS taxed at 35%. Its up about 10% I believe sequentially. This is the earnings everyone looks at. They don't get credit for tax loss carryforwards since they're temporary.

EPS ramp looks good, but revenues are flat.

Yes, I am short due to temporary flat quarter which I don't think will be taken well. Otherwise, I agree with all of the longs on the story long term.
