I don't recall offhand
the way matrox driver downloads work,

I followed Matrox instructions to a 'T'..... dwnld to a "Download folder'> unzip into Temp folder >run setup program. I previously uninstalled my original Matrox sw in preparation for the new dwnld as Matrox also suggests.

Results

Matrox Powerdesk NT gets installed but its shortcuts from start menu can't find their proper destination files. Upon startup I get the message 'Cannot find the file C:\Program" (Program Files?) although its where it always was on C:.

MGA properties as a tab in display properties or as a
separate choice when you right-click the desktop is also not in either place. The mga64 driver that I dwnldd is listed in devices but won't start because "a device attached to the system is not functioning". That must be the g200.

And my curser sometimes freezes up. I must admit I'm not finding this Matrox driver to be all its been cracked up to be.
